Hi! I’m Makayla, the founder of Kelpology. My love for the ocean didn’t start at the beach; it started with stories and movies that sparked my imagination, like The Little Mermaid and Finding Dory. Those films were my first window into the magic beneath the waves. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I finally stood by the ocean for the first time, and I knew instantly—I never wanted to be far from it again.

I started Kelpology because I wanted to capture that feeling of wonder and bring it into your daily life. While my background as a nurse taught me the importance of quality care, it is my deep, adult-found love for the sea that truly guides me. I choose every ingredient with respect for the ocean’s health. My goal is to create simple, honest skincare that brings the healing spirit of the sea into your home, helping you feel refreshed and grounded every single day.
